Stainless Steel Two-Piece Rod Ends

304 and 316L stainless steel rod ends in standard two-piece commercial construction, consisting of a machined housing with an open eye and a stainless steel ball pressed and staked into the race after assembly. This construction offers a cost-effective alternative to three-piece designs and is suited to commercial and industrial applications where aerospace-rated load performance is not required.

The standard metal-to-metal configuration uses a 303 or 316L stainless steel body with a heat-treated, precision-ground 440C stainless steel ball. The race can be supplied as an open, greaseable configuration for regular lubrication and field maintenance. PTFE-lined configurations are also available when self-lubricating operation and reduced maintenance are required. Available in metric M5–M36 and inch sizes from 10-32 through 1-1/4″-12, with male or female threads and right-hand or left-hand thread options.

Applications:

General industrial machinery, agricultural equipment, food processing linkages, marine control systems, and commercial automation where corrosion resistance, standard radial load capacity, and serviceability are required.
