Raw Material Inspection
Profab analyzes the chemical composition, hardness tests and checks the material certificates of each steel lot. We use spectrometers or chemical reagents to verify the content of alloying elements. We ensure the use of medical or industrial grade stainless steel such as 304, 316, 17-4PH, etc. that meets the requirements.
Process Control
Prior to CNC machining, Profab technicians calibrate tools, fixtures and machine conditions. During machining, dimensional tolerances and surface roughness are monitored in real time using in-line measuring probes and workpiece geometry compensation systems.

Welding and Assembly Inspection
Profab conducts visual inspections before and after the weld to confirm that the joint is free of cracks, under-welds or slag entrapment. We use penetration testing (PT) or magnetic particle testing (MT) in critical areas to detect surface defects. Volumetric inspection methods such as ultrasonic (UT) or radiographic testing (RT) are introduced when needed to ensure that there are no hidden defects within the weld.
Surface Finish Verification
After completing the surface treatment, Profab measures the Ra value using a roughness tester to confirm that the surface is ≤ 0.8 μm (or customer-specified standard). We also conduct a salt spray test on the sample to verify corrosion resistance.

Finished Product Dimensional and Functional Inspection
Profab uses CMMs to fully scan critical dimensions and generate inspection reports. Matching tests to confirm internal and external bore coaxiality, axial clearance, etc. Mechanical performance testing to verify strength and durability.
Final Acceptance Before Packaging
Profab will check the surface cleanliness, product quantity, batch number and package labeling before official shipment. We provide complete quality and material reports to ensure traceability.
