Types of Stainless Steel Shelf Brackets
All types are CNC formed from 304 or 316 stainless steel and available in brushed or mirror-polished finish. Custom dimensions are available on all types with no tooling fee for standard profiles.
Heavy Duty Shelf Brackets
The workhorse of heavy-duty stainless steel shelf brackets. Symmetrical L-profile with two mounting flanges — one to the wall, one beneath the shelf. Sizes from 4″ to 24″ arm length. Handles granite countertops, timber work surfaces, and commercial shelving.
Floating Shelf Bracket
Stainless steel floating shelf brackets use blind steel rods anchored into the wall and concealed inside the shelf, leaving no visible hardware. The clean face suits modern kitchens, bathrooms, and retail display. 316 grade recommended for humid rooms. Rod diameter 10 mm or 12 mm, depth 150–300 mm.
Folding Shelf Bracket
Stainless steel folding shelf brackets fold flat against the wall when not in use. It’s critical for workshop benches, laundry drop-down shelves, and hospitality spaces where clear floor area is needed intermittently. The pivot mechanism is fully brushed stainless steel, no plastic or zinc components to corrode or discolour.
Adjustable Shelf Bracket

304 Stainless
Standard grade for indoor machinery, automation, and dry or mildly humid environments. Good resistance to cleaning chemicals. Cost-effective for high-volume orders. Not suitable for continuous salt spray or chloride-heavy process environments.

316 / 316L
Marine and food-grade standard. 2–3% molybdenum addition raises chloride pitting resistance significantly above 304. Required for outdoor, marine, offshore, and food equipment with CIP chemical cleaning. Especially 316 stainless steel has excellent resistance to corrosive saltwater effects.

Mirror polish is specified for decorative or hygienic applications. Electropolished finish is available for food, pharma, and cleanroom environments.
