Sandblasted Stainless Steel
Profab Machine
What is Sandblasted Stainless Steel?
Sandblasted stainless steel is produced by abrasive blasting to create a consistent textured surface. The process removes scale and light surface defects while producing a controlled matte appearance. Depending on the abrasive media and blasting parameters, finishes can range from fine satin to a coarse, brushed-like texture. Typical materials are 304 and 316 stainless steels; 316 is recommended for saltwater or highly corrosive environments.
